Delivery Charges.

Deliver charges are added at check out before payment is made. These charges depend on the size of the item.

Charity Items

Charity item cannot be returned or refunded, unless received damaged.

50% of charity items costs will go to ME Research UK.

P&P covers postage and packaging and will not be passed on to ME Research UK.

All the items are handmade and unique. Due to the limitations of the shop platform, there may be an occasion that an item that is shown for sale but has already been sold. If this occurs, you will be given a full refund.

Wood is a natural product.

Wood is a natural product, which means that it may move with the changing seasons. Therefore, lids might become tighter in winter and looser in the summer. Knots and splits are natural and the colour of some woods will change as it ages.

Wood Care.

All my items are sealed and coated with wax or a similar product. To look after your wood, just give it a light dusting with a soft cloth and keep away from sunlight and extreme moisture or heat.

Food Safe Wood.

Certain items are prepared to be used with food. Just clean the item with warm soapy water and occasionally coat with a vegetable oil. Do not put it in a dishwasher.

Item Description.

While every care is taken to correctly identify the type of wood an item is made from, I cannot take any responsibility for any errors. I am given wood from many different sources, which makes it difficult to correctly name the wood.

Postage and Returns.

We will accept returns if you are not happy with the item. Please contact me within 7 days and item must be returned within 14 days. The buyer is responsible for shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer will be responsible for any loss of value. If your item is received damaged, we will give you a full refund. if returned within 14 days. All sizes quoted are approximate. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Confidentiality and privacy is important and as such Ralph Nisbet Photography takes privacy on the Internet and compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 very seriously.

Under no circumstance will we ever knowingly breach any law or bi-law which governs the use of the Internet, Social Media and sensitive information and as such we believe it tantamount our responsibility to inform you how we treat the information you may provide us especially when using our contact us page.

In general, you may visit the site without telling us who you are or revealing any personally identifiable information about you. Our servers collect the domain names, operating system in use (e.g., Macintosh, Windows) and browser (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer)

We may from time to time measure the number of visits made to our website so that we can assess its popularity which will help us in our quest for continuous quality improvement. E-mail addresses and other personally identifiable information such as your company name, your first and last name, telephone number and other similar information is only known when you voluntarily complete our contact form.

We undertake not to use your information for any purposes other than for specific requests about our services. We will only promote or market further services directly to you if you choose to receive such information.

We undertake not to sell, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal or business information outside this company, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g. when seeking planning permission) or you have given us explicit consent (e.g. ordering materials). However we cannot be held liable for any malfunction, ‘hack’ or dubious activity which is absolutely beyond our control or technical capability.
